Contenur S.L., a company dedicated to design, production and marketing of containerization systems with more than 30 years of experience in the sector, we offers this opportunity, launching its 1st Igloo Contenur design contest. Information about the contest
We have the honor, to be the winners of the design contest, organized by CONTENUR. This company, is a benchmark company on an international level in the manufacture of containers for waste urban. Its main headquarters, is located in Getafe (Madrid), but it has other delegations located in different countries like: Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Poland Portugal & United Kingdom.
It could be said that practically all the containers that we see in Spain on our streets, squares and roads belong to CONTENUR. This award means that our original intention and all the dedication that we have devoted to the development of the idea, has been interpreted with success and approval, where the technical-aesthetic aspects are evaluated with criteria and rigor by a specialist jury. We want to thank the management of CONTENUR and its entire team for choosing our proposal among the 95 projects that have participated in the contest.
The contest consisted, in designing a container for urban waste and its later serial production. Its dimensions, defined in the contest, they had to understand the following measures: 1.70 m. tall, a floor area of 1.5m x 1.5m and a tight volume to a capacity of 2,200 – 2,300 liters. Plastic or metal are the only ones materials accepted for develop the proposal.
