Country House
A perspective wide of the farm and a panoramic view from the landscape, is perceived when one is in any interior of this group of 2 houses. Nature is the protagonist, it is present in a notorious way and this is because we are on a slope of a valley populated by different types of trees and other varied vegetation. It is a project of a certain size because the houses are 100% emptied, leaving the interior space completely liberated, to execute the works and to transfer the work studio previously defined.
Between the houses, there is a slope of 3.06 m. tall and are not perpendicular to each other, because carry out the union at 115º. By means of a stairs that we have developed, is generated the inner connection of both constructions.One of the houses, specifically the body located in the highest part, It is 60 m² . in each floors, however later, another 3rd plant is added 35 m². dedicated to winery, which is half-buried. In the top from this winery, coinciding also with vertical projection, is where it is built at 2.50 m. tall a new porch in an “L” shape. Because of this organization of the parts, it is decided to place by this point the new exterior stairs, becoming like this, in the nexus of union that connects the 2 houses externally. This stairs have been oriented adequately to get a good relationshipbetween the 2 bodies or houses.
The second house has an area of 91 m². and it is rectangular, with dimensions of 13 m. long x 7 m. Wide. Thus, the sum of the surfaces of the 2 houses is 337 m². We define the needs program based on the location of each construction, on the one hand for the house located at the top of the slope, we assign 2 guest rooms, 1 bathroom and the kitchen with an auxiliary reinforcement area. In the other house, the one located in the lower part of the unevenness, it has a more elongated projection and on its floor 0, we place the dining room, the living room with a fireplace, so we place the night environment on floor 1, which is intended for owners. It is composed of a dressing room-wardrobe, 1 bathroom and a room of generous dimensions, where the four-poster bed and a heirloom dressing table, dress this large area.
In the inner space, the warmth go through all the residence and generates an environment cozy and intimate, because every detail it’s found instead and at the same time contributes to consolidate the organization thought for this work.It has been strictly respected, the way of application or placement of materials like the wood, the stone, the granite, marble, slate or the cathedral glass, that incorporate, some of the openings located in the closing walls.
Inside the work process, the owners have resolved certain concerns they had, such as incorporating a four-poster bed or the wood carvings made on the balusters of the interior stairs, in addition to placing an office table in the daytime space, such as the living room.
“ To connect 2 houses, with unevenness in the land ”.
An unevenness implies a difference in height and it is evident that it brings with it a certain discomfort when using an interior with these particularities, this circumstance cannot be denied or hidden, because when traveling through spaces with unevenness, the user is subjected to a greater effort.
But despite everything, this type of construction has some special features that others do not have, such as interesting visual perspectives of the interior, where you can obtain spaces of another nature, different and with depth, because there is more height . To the outside, the views are also attractive because normally the panoramic view is wide and spectacular, as is the case in this group of houses located on a slope.
